The title of the episode, "Everything is everything", is a phrase that came into common usage during the 1960s. Made popular by New York jazz musicians and African American communities, these words affirm well-being despite adversity and express the hope, however slight or cynical, for better things to come. Call it street lingo related to phrases such as, "And this too shall pass," and, "We are all in this together."
